Accomplishments
Some successes of mine
TedxMiami – When We Listen
I performed on Tedx Miami with long-time mentor and CNN Hero, Chad Bernstein, the CEO and founder of Guitars Over Guns, an organization that provides mentorship and music education to young students. Chad and I shared the importance of listening and understanding our youth.
National Anthem Rendition at Kaseya Center
Kaseya Center, formerly known as the FTX or the American Airlines Arena, is home to the Miami Heat, my favorite team in the NBA and a team I’ll always root for to win every game. In May of 2021, I played the National Anthem at the start of the tip-off for the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Miami Heat game.
National Anthem Rendition at Loan Depot Park
I played the National Anthem for the first time in LoanDepot Park (formerly known as Marlins Stadium).
Musical Journey
Then to now…
It all started while I was a student at North Miami Middle School in the 2010–2011 academic year. I was twelve years old when I enrolled in my first guitar lesson. I spent the better part of the summer of 2011 looking for online guitar lessons from industry greats like Marty Schwartz. After that, I started playing the guitar in Miami and developed my own style, drawing influence from guitar greats such as Mike Dawes, Andy McKee, and Tommy Emmanuel.
I continued to play live in Miami while attending FAU in Boca Raton (long drives), and I also started mastering, producing, and mixing music for both myself and other people. Throughout college, I participated in a variety of projects that helped me get acknowledged as a recipient of scholarships and honors.
Now, I’m working toward being one of Miami’s most sought after guitarist for weddings and other special occasions.
